Arı Makine

İsmail Arı, the founder of our company, was born in 1950 in Akyaprak Village of Çanakkale as the child of a modest family. In those years, he met the difficulties of life very early, like his peers, due to the impossibility of the economic situation in the country and entered the working life.

He was introduced to the Shipbuilding Sector in 1972 when he was hired as a mechanical worker at the “Hayri Baran Shipyard” in Beykoz. Over the years, he has been recognized for his hard work, integrity and skill. When he decided to establish his own company in 1982, he was the foreman of “Mechanical and Ship Equipment Workshops” at Sedef Shipyard. Later, they established Arı Makine, Birlik Makine and Şahin Makine, respectively, with his partner Burhan Şahin.
